How do I order?

Online!  All products will be limited in quantity so first come first serve. Signing up for email notification is the best way to receive first notice when product has dropped. 

Is there a deadline to place an order for pick up the same week?

Order by Wednesday, 11pm for pick up the same week on Thursday-Sunday (depending on your pick up location)

How do pick ups work?

Your order will be bagged and ready to pickup at the location you have chosen.
The staff will ask for your Order Confirmation and retrieve your order. Orders must be picked up during the appointed days, or the sweets will be donated.

What are the pick up days and times?

These days & times may not apply during holidays and/or unanticipated store schedule changes. You can always give the store a call to make sure they're open before heading over to pick up your order.

Tell me more about your pick up locations?

Albertine Press is a letterpress print and design studio as well as paper boutique carrying cards, prints, desk accessories, gifts plus delightfully curated finds and curiosities for the paper obsessed.

In addition to products made in the studio, customers can discover an ever-changing assortment of cards, gifts, and curiosities sourced from other small, independent makers like ourselves. Browsing their shelves, you’ll find beautiful, practical goods that support local-makers, women-owned businesses, sustainable living, and thoughtful gifting.

Black Bear Cafe (Inside Belmont Books) -Tucked in the heart of Belmont Center, Belmont Books is a two-story full-service bookstore offering a wide, carefully curated selection of fiction, nonfiction, children’s, and YA titles.  They host weekly author events, story hours for kids, and book club gatherings, making it a lively meeting place for readers. Add on their friendly staff and cozy café, and it’s the kind of place you’ll want to browse a bit before you leave.

Sew & Bloom is a calm, light-filled 500-square-foot studio and boutique that blends art, home, and community. Known for its hand-drawn botanical textiles, wallpaper, stationery, and gifts, the shop also offers custom home décor projects and weekly creative workshops like watercolor botanicals and pressed flower art. Often described as a secret garden, it features a curated selection of gardening books and floral treasures for all ages.

Is there parking?

Albertine Press

  • Metered and resident parking is available nearby
  • On Sundays, parking is available on all Cambridge and Somerville residential streets.
  • You can legally park in loading zones for 15 minutes. There are “loading zone” spots just past the USPS post office on Cambridge St. and right around the corner on Oak St.
  • The closest parking lot is on Springfield St.

Black Bear Cafe (Inside Belmont Books)

  • There’s a large parking lot behind the store (first 2 hours free)
  • Limited street parking out front (first 30 minutes free with registering at the parking meter stations). 

Sew & Bloom

  • Nearby street parking includes 2-hour spots across from the shop and along Concord Ave.
  • Residential Parking is also available on side streets.
  • Loading zones are legal parking spots up to 15 minutes.

Do you ship?

Not at this time, but check back and/or sign up for email news and you'll be in the know when and if it happens!

What is your refund policy?

Refunds or returns are not accepted if a customer changes their mind, cancels their order after the Tuesday preceding their Thursday-Sunday pickup, or fails to to pick-up their order for any reason. Orders not picked up will not be stored for customers under any  circumstances. Leftover sweets will be donated.

Refunds or replacements will be considered if the product is defective in some way due to manufacturing and a majority has not been consumed.

Do you have a shop I can visit?

No, Temper Confections is only online with pickup locations.

Can I place a custom order or something from EHChocolatier's products?

A few EHChocolatier products will be rotating through. Depending on the time of the year, I might be able to accommodate a custom order. Send inquiries to nomnomnom@temperconfections.com.

How often do you drop products?

The goal is to offer bi-weekly drops with a newsletter notification arriving on Sunday morning.

Do you make anything that is completely allergen free?

Unfortunately not, all products are made in a residential kitchen and there is always potential of trace amounts of protein: tree nuts, peanuts, soy, sesame, milk, wheat, eggs, seafood & fish.

Will there be holiday themed products?

Not at this point.

Why the simple packaging?

So many reasons :)

  • Better for the environment.
  • Simplicity = Sustainability
  • Balancing increased costs of ingredients, especially dairy and chocolate.
  • Focus energy on making nomnomnoms and much less time on packaging them.
  • Smaller storage needs.

Is the packaging environmentally friendly?
